The climax is over… now it’s time for cuddling the denouement.
Denouements are hard if you don’t know what they’re for. Show the characters reacting to your awesome stupendous world-shattering climax conflict resolution. And end. This is the “We’ve got Top Men working on it… Top Men.” This is the “R2! He’ll be all right, won’t he?… Award Ceremony… Everyone gets a medal but Chewie”. Grace note.

Day 12. You should be 20,004 words into your new novel. Yes, I know I said 2,004 at one point. I corrected it in the cast, you’re not getting off that easy.
I believe that it’s a fantastic idea to write a little extra each day and build in a cushion so when you have to, you can take a day off. Also, reward yourself for your good writing habits. I’m just sayin’. (Today, I found a Star Wars Roleplaying Game Core Rulebook-not saga edition, dagnabit, for $7.99. Hello, rewarding myself!)
